Located in the heart of Fairbury, the Bonham Theatre is more than just a place to watch movies—
it’s a piece of local history and community pride.

Originally opened in 1926, the Bonham welcomed thousands on its very first day and quickly became known as the “showplace of southeast Nebraska.” After closing in 2012, community members came together to restore this beloved landmark, reopening it in 2017—91 years after its original debut.
Today, the Bonham Theatre continues to bring people together with movies, events, and small-town charm that you just can’t find anywhere else.
