Tractors and Treasures – Steele City Flea Market

The third weekend in September marks the Tractors and Treasures / Steele City Flea Market & Living History Weekend. Steele City is located just 12 miles southeast of Fairbury on Hwy 8. Featuring Case IH Tractors this year but ALL TRACTORS WELCOME. 

Don’t miss the food and live music both days!  Antique Tractor Pull, Tractor Drive, Old Farm Machinery Show and Tours of Historical Buildings. Living History with blacksmithing, working saw & shingles mill and Flea Market

FREE vendor space for vendors selling everything from antiques and primitives to collectibles and crafts; Food and Live Music both days. For more information, contact Phyllis McCown (402) 729-5805.

There will be blacksmithing and demonstrations, a working saw and shingles mill, old farm machinery show and tours of historic buildings, which comprise the Steele City Historic District.

Antique Tractor Pull – Noon Saturday on the Hill at the Steele City school grounds, Weigh-in at 11:00 am, Pull at Noon.

Fun Kids Pedal Pull beginning at 2:00 p.m., Street East Of Salty Dog (Prizes Awarded)

Beer Garden and Street Dance, band plays 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. sponsored by the Steele City Rural Volunteer Fire Department, proceeds benefit the department. raffle to be held.
